I had the honor of being selected to design this swirl icon for a client’s Instagram. Opinions on my work are always appreciated.
If there was a bottle episode between two characters in The Weekenders, which two characters would you choose?
You always come up with interesting questions! I’ve always wished to see more of Lor and her family, so I’d probably set an indoor episode in the MacQuarrie household, but since it’s about two characters I’d choose Tino and Ms. Tonitini instead. I’d set it in something like their garage or a room they’re desperately trying to clean, and as they keep doing housework they start telling each other stories/interacting with their usual witty banter. I’d love to hear Tino’s mom describing her childhood in detail and her relationship with her mother, since she implied several times she was a smart, intuitive woman. What about you?
Thanks for the compliment. It’s tough to choose because it’s tempting to pick two side characters, but the show is always from the perspective of one of the main 4. I would have to go with Tish and Francis because there’s so much potential for the two of them. You could have the two of them meet up at a Shakespeare fair, and Francis is obsessed with the dagger from Macbeth. If there was ever a season 5, I would love a change of dynamic because Tino, Lor, carver, and Tish are together pretty much in every episode. Sometimes, they’ll be split into groups of two, but I lwould love them to interact with other characters separately.

Here is my 2016 Demo Reel. Some of these animation were made in 2015, while others were made just four months ago. I hope you enjoy it! Don’t forget to tell me what animation from the reel you like the most. And I would love to know which areas I should improve on in my animations.
Today’s Sketching Sunday piece is a lot more avant-garde than my previous pieces. Experimenting with colored pencils, I used the contrast of lines to create a piece that I really enjoy the outcome of, especially the low saturation, since a lot of my color pieces have really bright hues. Opinions on my work are always appreciated.
I created aisforarthur a few summers ago. This will be my 2,208th post - and my last. I had a good run and I will miss this, but it’s time to move on.
